TMJ Interiors are proud to have been involved in the construction of an innovative Sensory Cabin at Thomas Wolsey School, Ipswich for youngsters with complex physical and learning difficulties.
We worked alongside ISG, donating the design / drawings and materials for the primary sub structure, sub roof, exterior cladding with insulation and the doors.
The cabin’s multi-sensory room use lights, sounds and textures to help children with their learning and provide a calm space for times of difficulty.
The TMJ team and other local suppliers that made this dream a reality were invited to an opening ceremony on Friday 3rd November, where we were gifted with personalised thank you cards from the children and received a special recognition from the Head Teacher, Helen McDougall, who was extremely appreciative of TMJ’s involvement with this project.
We hope the pupils at Thomas Wolsey enjoy the cabin as much as we did helping to build it.
