On Thursday 23rd November 2017 Pat Coll, Cheryl Hardacre and Adam Prime attended the Building Crafts College Prize Giving and Graduation Ceremony at the Carpenters’ Hall, London for our current apprentices.
TMJ are delighted to announce that our apprentices won a selection of awards:
Luke Auton, Austen Virr and Daniel Willis graduated after three years of College successfully completing their Level 3 NVQ Diploma Wood Occupations (Construction) – Architectural Joinery (QCF) & Level 3 Diploma Bench Joinery (Construction) QCF).
Daniel Baxter won the Worshipful Company of Joiners and Ceilers Awards for the Best Bench Joinery Apprentice for Year 1, show casing a table on the evening that he made all for a selection of off cuts that would have previously been disregarded.
Austen Virr won the Worshipful Company of Joiners and Ceilers Awards for the Best Bench Joinery Apprentice for Year 3 with the additional surprise of picking up the highest award of the evening – the Sir Banister Fletcher prize for the Student of the Year.
A fantastic achievement – well done to all! TMJ are very proud of all of our apprentices and we look forward to seeing them progress throughout the company over the years.
