The Architects’ Company’s City of London Building of the Year Award has been awarded to 100 Liverpool Street. The British Land Scheme delivered by Hopkins Architects and Sir Robert McAlpine transformed a tired 1980s building into a new benchmark for contemporary work, retail, and social space. The project received a ‘BREEAM Outstanding’ rating and met the RIBA’s embodied energy target. The judges for this year’s awards thought the project was a “masterful example of architectural strategy, delivery in its broadest sense.” We are honoured to have played an integral role!
