We actively encourage all our employees to partake in training schemes. TMJ takes the upmost pride in developing our employees to become the very best versions of themselves both professionally and personally.

Over the last two weeks in our G A Training Centre 21 employees from various departments were provided with Fire Marshal and Refresher Training; 10 team members were new to fire marshalling. In total we have 36 Fire Marshals covering the roles of both Fire Marshal and Deputy Fire Marshal in different areas of TMJ.

Employees left the course with an all-round knowledge of what to do in the event of a fire, detailed what emergency evacuation procedures should entail, a clear understanding of the responsibilities and duties of a fire marshal and even had practical hands on experience of tackling a controlled fire with a fire extinguisher.

We believe that having designated Fire Marshals at work is an important part of fire safety, in an emergency can work together with the employer to ensure that fire safety measures and evacuation procedures are in place and effective.
