A leader within the UK construction market offering bespoke joinery solutions for Commercial, Residential and Specialist projects. We are a fast-growing joinery / interior fit out company looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Team. Applications are open for our 2025 Carpentry & Joinery Apprenticeship Programme.
This is an exciting opportunity for those interested in the industry who are looking for a strong foundation to their career. You will be working towards a Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery qualification on the Architectural Joinery pathway. More information on the knowledge, skills and behaviours you will develop can be found on the Institute for Apprenticeships (IfATE) website.
The typical duration of the Level 2 apprenticeship is 24 months, working alongside our experienced team, being a part of the live projects, whilst attending College one day a week. You will be required to complete both practical and theory assignments along the way, documenting this on a digital platform to record all your evidence. As well as working on live projects, you will have the opportunity to spend some time on rotation in different departments throughout the company, expanding your knowledge and building up your Portfolio.
Ideal requirements for our Apprenticeship Programme:
- To have an interest in Design and Technology / Resistant Materials
- To have some practical experience within the chosen field
- To have a passion working as part of a team
- To be eager to learn
- You will be required to operate email and a computer based digital platform to record your theory work.
- English and Maths Grade 4 or above are preferred but not essential. (If you do not achieve either or both of these you will be required to work towards functional skills alongside your apprenticeship)
On successful completion at level 2 our Apprentices are invited to go on to complete additional training programmes. (Please note an English and Maths grade 4 or above or equivalent Functional skills qualification are required to progress to level 3)
